Hi, I'm experiencing some strange behavior of Murali's Archiver Appliance which suggests that CAJ does not use the defaults specified by the Channel Access reference manual correctly. Setting EPICS_CA_AUTO_ADDR_LIST=yes and running the Archiver Appliance is not sufficient to connect to a PV on the LAN. However when I use EPICS_CA_AUTO_ADDR_LIST=yes EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST=127.0.0.1 my PV connects. This issue seems to affect CS-Studio as well. That seems to be why my CS-Studio comes with "127.0.0.1" by default. Can anyone explain this behavior?
