Hi Emmanuel Thanks. However, I got PyDev to work in CSS (problem was CSS pointing to JDK 1.7 32bit i.s.o the 64 bit one) I looked at pyCharm but need it in CSS. Regards Amien From: Emmanuel Mayssat [mailto:[email protected]]
From: [email protected] Hi I cannot get PyDev installed in the latest CSS from SNS (the BASIC package) Although it installs everything correctly, the moment I run CSS, I get the following message in my ‘properties’ tab.. >> Could not create the view: Plug-in "org.eclipse.rap.ui.views" was unable to execute setInitializationData on an instance of "org.eclipse.ui.views.properties.PropertySheet". Also my ‘CSS->preferences’ menu is dimmed out. I have a Win 7 (64bit) i7 Intel computer with 16GB RAM and 1 TB harddrive. Installed is Java 1.7.0_51 (64bit) Server as well as the JDK 1.7 Being new to Python and Java, I’m hoping to use PyDev so that I can have a genuine editor with code-completion etc..
