Subject: RE: How to stop acquire in DblCorrelation Mode for MarCCD inAreaDetector module
Just a quick follow-up. I have reproduced the problem, and indeed I found I cannot even stop a normal (not double-correlation) image with long exposure times without introducing problems.
I need access to a detector to debug this, and that will have to wait till after May 4.

Hi Zhou Ping,
I was not aware of this problem. I will test it today and see if I can reproduce it and find a solution.

Subject: How to stop acquire in DblCorrelation Mode for MarCCD in AreaDetector module
Hi All,
The detector of our beamline is MarCCD and the type is SX165. It worked in areaDetectorR1-9-1 Module correctly. The parameters were as follows:
ADFrameType = DblCorrelation;
ADImageMode = Single;
marCCDStability = 0;
marCCDOverlap = Sequential;
In this condition, I found it can't stop acquire completely when it was acquiring. It can only stop front half acquire time and the back time can't stopped. For example, if I set the acquire time = 100s, then I clicked the start button to start acquire. If I want to stop acquire when it had acquired 20s for front half the nominal acquisition time, I clicked the stop button to stop it. And then I found it still acquired in the next half the nominal acquisition time which was 50s. It couldn't be stopped completely!
If I set ADFrameType to Normal, it could be stopped quickly. But the background noise was too large in this mode so I set ADFrameType to DblCorrelation for use.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
Thanks!
With best regards,
