Hi, Does anyone know of a project or collaboration to provide web-browser based EPICS control screens? I am trying to get a feeling for how possible it would be to create a framework for this concept.
A former coworker made some EPICS display screens using EZCA and perl. They look very much like out edd/dm screens, e.g.: http://www.ukirt.jach.hawaii.edu/cgi-bin/TelStat/weather.pl or http://www.ukirt.jach.hawaii.edu/cgi-bin/TelStat/wfcam_sensors.pl (on the real edd/dm screen you can set the setpoint for the array temperature) As these are open to the public I'm glad that they don't allow any control though.
