Thanks for the comment.  The paper presented at ICALEPCS2013 was

WebSocket is one of the IETF standards.  It is supported by web 
browsers, it can share a single TCP port (ex. 80) with http, and 
it provides realtime performance.  

As Stefani wrote, the present CA code does not catch up with the 
versions of Node.js.  As the author finished his thesis recently, 
he will update the code.
