Hi Ben and Freddie,

Thanks very much for the new releases.

I have verified that seq-2.2.3 works for me with EPICS base 3.14.12.5 on the following platforms:

win32-x86
win32-x86-static
windows-x64
windows-x64-static
linux-x86
linux-x86_64
vxWorks-ppc32

On Windows I tested with Visual Studio 2010, gnumake 4.1, and ActiveState Perl 5.14.2.

On all platforms except vxWorks-ppc32 I also ran "make -s runtests" to run the tests, and all were successful.

Mark

Subject: New sequencer releases

Hi Everyone

Two new releases for the sequencer are available: seq-2.1.20 and
seq-2.2.3. Details as usual in the release notes on the sequencer's home
page:

  http://www-csr.bessy.de/control/SoftDist/sequencer/

(Note that for version 2.1 the URL is

  http://www-csr.bessy.de/control/SoftDist/sequencer-2-1/ .)

The main changes in both versions are improvements to the build and test
systems. In particular, building and running the tests should now work
on Windows (including cygwin) and with 32 as well as 64 bit systems.
Many thanks to the new co-maintainer Freddie Akeroyd, who did most of
this work.

In addition, version 2.2 has acquired a few bug fixes.

Cheers
Ben
