Hi Yuelin,
You can control the visibility of a widget by grouping it and setting the visibility of the group. Tim Mooney ([email protected]) (630)252-5417

It has been suggested by multiple colleagues that one can control the visibility of a text object to block the access of a widget under certain conditions. However, when I tried it turns out text/graphic objects are always behind the widgets so even when they are visible they do not block the widget. I also could not control the visibility of any of the widget. I tried it both in MEDM and in caQTDM.
Is it by design that that this function is impossible or I did it wrong? Thanks.
Best,
Yuelin
