Andrew, come to think of it, it would be really great to include a
paragraph about the versioning and its meaning, the available series
and their meanings, and which series is recommended for which people
under which conditions--something like the above and in the referenced
Tech-Talk email--in a paragraph in the Versions section at:
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/base/index.php
