Dear PLC EPICS & PLCs users, After reviewing EPICS using SLS s7plc driver PDF document:
http://epics.web.psi.ch/software/s7plc/YHLhtcPLCa.pdf, and Dirk Zimoch PLC EPICS Device support, it seems to me that at the end is a question of mapping the PLC I/Os in the DataBlocks, that will be accessible through Ethernet using TCP/IP. Actual s7plc
EPICS device support, supports “new” (I mean since 2007) S7-300 and s7-1500 PLCs, using TIA portal for programming them? Or shall be modified part of the device support?... My general question is: is there any restriction on both families (S7-300 & S7-1500)
to be supported with the actual s7plc device support? Thank you very much in advance Regards Diego P Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail.
