Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi,
I installed the support mca7-7 to use a X-123SDD Detector using the MCA
Amptek Driver. The IOC starts correctly and the medm screen Amptek.adl
works perfectly, but I'm having problem to read a PV mca1.
In the medm screen mca.adl the graph don't show any data and return the
follow message: The requested data transfer is greater than available
memory or EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES. If I use "caget" in this PV, I have
the same problem.
But, if I limit the number of elements of array until 4095 using: caget
-# 4095 mcaTest:mca1 for example, the pv return a correct value.
I put a very high value in variable
EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES="999999999999", but it still didn't work.
Has anyone had this kind of problem? Any idea how to debug/solve this?
Best Regards
