Hi,
at the moment I can use dbpf to write array of char values (ASCII) to waveform. epics> dbpf FEB-030Row:PBI-EVR-030:SoftSeq0-EvtCode-SP dodo DBR_UCHAR[5]: 100 0x64 111 0x6f
100 0x64 111 0x6f
0 0x0
OTOH, if I want to write '42', as an integer, to index 0 of waveform I do not get expected results.epics> dbpf FEB-030Row:PBI-EVR-030:SoftSeq0-EvtCode-SP 42
DBR_UCHAR[3]: 52 0x34 50 0x32
0 0x0
Any way to get 42 into the waveform with current iocsh facilities? Thanks, Hinko |
