No, the tech-talk mailing list and its archives, which are searchable
from the web-page at https://epics.anl.gov/tech-talk/search.php are the
main EPICS support channel. Think of it this way: If a question hasn't
already been asked and answered in the archives, maybe it should be for
the next person who wants to know. Then the more people who see the
question the faster it is likely to get a response, and if it's a bug
the more likely it is to reach someone else who has already come across
and hopefully solved it or found a workaround.

There have been several sets of Python bindings for Channel Access over
the years, most of which you can find links to at
    https://epics.anl.gov/extensions/index.php#CA_Interfaces
The one that gets used the most here at APS is PyEpics
    http://cars9.uchicago.edu/software/python/pyepics3/
so I suggest you start with that. Matt Newville who maintains that code
reads tech-talk and often responds to questions here, but there are many
others here who use it and can help.
