This might be true as long as we are talking about the defaults.
However, using the --coresize=<size> argument you can specify a maximum
size of the core file. A core file will only be written if smaller than
this size. Setting this to 0 turns off writing core files.

I tend to forget about command line arguments that I was asked to add to procServ, but never used personally. (Might consider renaming it procZilla at some point.)
