Yes, my local machine (corvette) is using Sphinx 1.8.5, rather than 1.8.4. I just updated the requirements.txt file to use Sphinx 1.8.5 rather than 1.8.4. The Travis build is thus now using Sphinx 1.8.5, and it says that at the bottom of the pages on areadetector.github.io. However, the page from areadetector.github.io is still only 800 pixels wide, while it is 1170 wide when I run Sphinx 1.8.5 locally. This is also using the div.body block in theme_overrides.css that should be increasing the 800px to 1200px, but that does not seem to help. Mark From: Mark Rivers
Hi Matt, Ø
Are all those rendered files (including js and css files in the `_static` folder) pushed to the
areadetector.github.io repo? The only css file pushed to areadetector.github.io is source/_static/theme_overrides.css. All of the other css files are built by Sphinx on Travis. Ø
It looks like the
areaDetector.github.io docs are built with Sphinx 1.8.4, which is a little out-of-date. Maybe the sphinx output on your local machine is from a more recent version? Yes, my local machine (corvette) is using Sphinx 1.8.5, rather than 1.8.4. However, on the local machine /_build/html/_static/basic.css does contain the same lines that cause the display to be only 800 pixels wide on github.io. div.body { min-width: 450px; max-width: 800px; } But for some reason when displaying locally that 800px limit is not enforced?
