Folks,

 

I recently set up a new Centos 8 system with EPICS, synApps, and areaDetector (including ADAravis, ADEiger, and ADVimba).  To do so I needed to install nearly 30 Linux packages.  I have attached a Word document listing all of the packages I needed to install, and also all of the other packages that were installed as dependencies.

 

I thought this might save others some time in determining just what packages are needed when they run into errors building on new Linux installations.
