Subject: | ARM cross-built targets linux-arm_el and linux-arm_eb – last call |

Is anybody out there actually using either of these two cross-built target architectures? I plan to remove their configuration files from the EPICS 7.0 branch if nobody speaks up. Note that I’m definitely not talking about the linux-arm target
here, just the two endian-specific derivatives mentioned in the Subject line (which actually just relied on the compiler to know what to do).
Also I’d be interested to hear if anyone is doing native builds of EPICS on a linux-aarch64 system, and if so what target name are you using. I’m about to add configuration files for cross-building (tested using the Xilinx SDK/2018.3) but I don’t
have any native (i.e. self-hosted) files for this architecture.
Thanks,
- Andrew
