Hi All,
Some of you may be familiar with cothread, a co-operative threading library which wraps libca via ctypes:
We wanted to use some asyncio libraries with CA and PVA (https://epics.anl.gov/tech-talk/2020/msg01279.php) so we ported the cothread catools API to asyncio. The results may be useful to others:
The API is pretty much the same as cothread (with the addition of async/await keywords) to allow easy porting of existing applications if they need to mix with other asyncio libraries. It is feature complete and has 100% test coverage, so has a 1.0 release,
but has not had any production use so far.
Thanks,
Tom
