Ah I see, Thanks Kay! If I had then a dropdown of actions for Main Device 1/2/3, a dropdown of actions for SubDevice 1/2/3 would I then have to have each of these actions lead to a different set of PV displays meaning for X Main Devices and Y SubDevices I would
need X*Y displays in order to account for all possibilities someone might select? Or is there a better way to have my macros populated. Will for example if I have Main Device 1 selected and Subdevice 2 selected populate my macros accordingly MainDevice1:Subdevice2
if I have the macro setup correctly of course? Or does each action button only call a certain display? From: Kasemir, Kay <kasemirk at ornl.gov> > Is the only way to change macro values through button actions or can you setup drop down menus (or some other more condensed form to select from)
An action button with more than one action turns into a drop-down for you to select one of the options, i.e. "condensed".
