Phoebus Strip tool and Databrowser Only Show Latest Point

Hi,

I have a fresh install of Phoebus from: https://controlssoftware.sns.ornl.gov/css_phoebus/nightly/phoebus-linux.zip
I am running Ubuntu 20.04. I have installed Java with:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install openjdk-14-jdk

When I run Phoebus I can run the striptool and databrowser examples without problem. When I try and add a PV to a striptool/databrowser which I can monitor without issue with the text-update widget/ probe, the strip tool only displays the most recent point, it doesn't have any history and when a new value comes in it just plots that. It ends up looking like a flat line across the whole plot that moves up and down with the value of the PV. I have tried with different PV's some from ai records, others from longin, all the same. My colleagues don't have this problem with their installations done in the same way. Any ideas what might be causing the problem?
