Olivier,I've seen CA misaligned protocol errors on IOCs at the APS in the past. I believe they were caused by network security scans run by the IT group. There was a strong correlation between the error messages and shutdown days, which is the only time IT scans the beamlines.
IOCs usually didn't need to be restarted after the errors occurred. I believe Windows IOCs were the exception. I vaguely recall the scans crashing Windows IOCs.

Hi, I'm working at GANIL in Caen, France. We are currently using EPICS 3.14.12.4. We are facing issues about UDP CAS. (UPD: "CAS: Missaligned protocol rejected). For that, we are wondering whether or not it would be interesting to switch on a more "up to date" version.I would like to know what is the latest "stable" version of EPICS ?I read in your download page there was "stable" versions and "current" versions. What are exactly the differences between "current" and "stable" ?Are current versions stable or not ?
