Hi Till,

Thanks for having a look at this issue.

I was not precise with my description of the Matlab crash. We experience in the LBL rather deadlock ie. exactly what you have described. I do not have a log to show since Matlab "freezes" and there is no communication with it.

There is an article below which shows the importance of Matlab and LabCA:

Best Regards

Hi Mirek.

Do you have any more information? Session logs? The more comprehensive the better
(please don't edit anything out).

I do have 2020b available here; everything builds fine but then refuses to load,
i.e., the first labca command hangs forever (without printing the initialization message).

I.e., I cannot reproduce a crash but rather experience a freeze or deadlock.

This happens also if I create a 'hello-world' style mex file and just link EPICS libCom
(ie., no labca at all).

Best

Hello,

We are facing in the LBL a problem with Matlab 2020b crash when using labCa 3.7.2.
Has anybody else experienced the same problem?
It looks like the incompatibility between the Matlab 2020b and labCa latest official version.

Best Regards
Mirek
