Hi Laurenz,
Your module gave us a much easier start to working with this device. We have now built upon this and created the following module:
https://github.com/dls-controls/SQC-310.
It has templates and protocols for a few of the main parameters for 4 sensors and the first 9 materials and some EDM screens. It also includes a cpp script to generate the commands to send to the device, including the length and CRCs - this is based on the
code snippet in the manual. A few bits have been taken out because they didn't work for us, or we didn't have a need for them currently, but I think from the state it is in now it should be simple to add other parameters.
It is quite generic, there are some DLS-specific bits, such as the configure/RELEASE and etc/ directory, but it shouldn't take too much effort to build elsewhere. I expect we will continue work on this as users test it and point out bugs or missing functionality,
so we can keep this module updated with any other developments if it is useful for anyone.
