Hi Andy,
Thanks, I have heard back from Symetrie and they sent the manual for the EPICS driver. It uses the PMAC driver you listed, and I believe the PMAC implements the Cartesian coordinates as virtual motors.

but I don't know if you're looking for an extra application on top of that to drive the Hexapod?
