We are looking to cleanup the disk attached to our EPICS Archiver Appliance. It has data from delete signals on it 2 questions have been raised and I am hoping someone may know the answers. 1. Can we recover access to this data that is still on disk? 2. If we delete this data (which has been backed up in our backup system) is it possible to restore it if someone wants to access it later?
