Possibility of adding/appending data to existing PVs

Hello,

We are interested in adding data to  current PVs in our Archiver 
Appliance by way of the BPL.

We're familiar with obtaining data from the appliance using, for 
example, ".../data/getData.json...", but would also like to be able to 
use a similar

method to add or append data to existing PVs.

Is there a way that this can be done with the available logic that the 
appliance currently employs?
