This is very different than generating a VME bus RESET ... like the doodle board Mark mentioned does. We (APS) have found it invaluable to be able to generate a hard VME Reset through the doodle board. Otherwise, techs would be called in to cycle the power

remotely would reboot with a ^x (that includes boards as different as hkbaja and MV5100) Maren On Fri, Apr 12, 2024 at 6:24 AM Jennings, Guy via Tech-talk <tech-talk at aps.anl.gov> wrote: > > A quick question, > > Does anyone know if it is possible to reset an MVME-2700 card using its serial console port? I have a card that is failing to boot after attempting to load the vxWorks image. I seem to remember it was possible with the MVME-167 cards, but is it possible with the MVME-2700, and, if so, what ctrl character should I send > > Guy Jennings > |
