Hi Alessandra,

Please could you post here the snippet of the database logic showing the records involved in setting these limits? Its not clear from your message which fields you are using. You should be using the HOPR and LOPR fields as described in the "Operator Display Parameters" in the ao record docs.

It may also be useful if you post the relevant snippet of your Phoebus configuration file where you set the dbe_property_supported configuration parameter.

I have an ao record that I want to use as upper limit for other ao records through a dfanout one.

If I monitor these upper limits I see them changing when I change the first ao record, but they are not propagated to the spinners controlling the other PVs.

I set the dbe_property_supported to True in the Phoebus settings but this didn't help.

 

Is there anything wrong with what I'm doing?
