Alarm Handler in Windows

Hi,

 

We have a situation where we want to install alarm handler in windows. We have a windows system connected to the central network which is connected to central EPICS alarm handler. Windows system has EPICS IOC server transmitting alarms correctly to this Alarm server. Alarms are properly visible and history can be accessed.

 

We want to also have a local database on windows system also in case of isolated operation, and thus requirement of windows Alarm Handler

 

1. Is it possible to installed Alarm handler so that we can fetch alarm history from local database whenever required? It’s ok if local and central Databases are not syncing and having different alarm history.
2. As this system has already EPICS IOC running with required PVs and configured alarms, Is it necessary to install EPICS to run alarm handler ?

 

3. I am trying to get CSS from https://www.controlsystemstudio.org/download/ , but website not working. Is it possible to get it windows package from anywhere else ?

 

 

4. For widows Alarm Handler ftp://ftp.aps.anl.gov/pub/extensionsStatic/win32/ this also doesn’t seem to work for me. Any other source
