Hello everyone,
ALS/ALS-U has an exciting position for an Instrumentation Engineer that I thought might be of interest to some of you.
The position involves designing and implementing electronic instrumentation and data acquisition systems for particle accelerators and scientific applications, covering all phases from conceptualization to commissioning. Some of the projects that the Instrumentation group is currently involved in are: Beam Position Monitor (BPM), Timing system, Fast Orbit Feedback (FOFB), FPGA-based high speed digitizers and Fast Machine Protection system.
