Hallo Heinz,

Original EPICS Base (the "classic" modules) are on Launchpad.
New PVA modules (formerly "V4") are on GitHub.

It's been that way for a while, and currently we are not planning to change.

I can’t push to github.com/epics-base/pvDatabaseCPP as user hjunkes

I just added you to the C++-devs group of the epics-base organization. Now you can.

trying to push libcom-branch hj/rtems5libcom to origin:git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base

Please do not push merge proposals to the epics-base master repo.

Instead, push merge proposals to your own repo, either in you personal Launchpad area (only you can push to it) or in the epics-base area (all epics-base members can push to it).

E.g. (using the second option)

Pull-URL (no authN, read-only):
https://git.launchpad.net/~epics-core/epics-base/+git/heinz

Push-URL (authenticated, read/write):
git+ssh://<user-name>@git.launchpad.net/~epics-core/epics-base/+git/heinz

Then (using the web interface) browse to the branch you want to propose, and create the merge proposal (make sure to direct it to the right branch in the epics-base master repo).

HTH,
~Ralph
