Still confused:

When I clone git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base

the .git/config looks like this

[junkes@dune .git (GIT_DIR!)]$ more config
[pack]
        buildbitmaps = false
[core]
        repositoryformatversion = 0
        filemode = true
        logallrefupdates = true
        precomposeunicode = true
        bare = false
[remote "origin"]
        url = git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base
        fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
[branch "core/master"]
        remote = origin
        merge = refs/heads/core/master
[submodule "modules/ca"]
        url = git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base/
[submodule "modules/database"]
        url = git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base/
[submodule "modules/libcom"]
        url = git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base/
[submodule "modules/normativeTypes"]
        url = https://github.com/epics-base/normativeTypesCPP
[submodule "modules/pvAccess"]
        url = https://github.com/epics-base/pvAccessCPP
[submodule "modules/pvData"]
        url = https://github.com/epics-base/pvDataCPP
[submodule "modules/pvDatabase"]
        url = https://github.com/epics-base/pvDatabaseCPP
[submodule "modules/pva2pva"]
        url = https://github.com/epics-base/pva2pva
[submodule "modules/pvaClient"]
        url = https://github.com/epics-base/pvaClientCPP

it seems that parts (eg. pvDatabase )is not on launchpad?

I can’t push to github.com/epics-base/pvDatabaseCPP as user hjunkes
“git-receive-pack not permitted”

trying to push libcom-branch hj/rtems5libcom to origin:git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base

“git://git.launchpad.net/epics-base: Permission denied.

or
git push -u libcom/master git+ssh://git.launchpad.net/epics-base hj/rtems5libcom

fatal: remote part of refspec is not a valid name in git+ssh://git.launchpad.net/epics-base

Need a recipie to proceed...

Danke, Heinz
