Thanks for the information Han, I wasn't aware of your move.
I've just been talking with Michael who has stayed at both the
Planetstaden and the Ideon (which apparently has some rooms with no
windows at all). It seems likely that the Osprey crew will stay at the
Planetstaden, even though it would require a walk into the town center
(or to Ideon) to catch the bus to ESS.
It doesn't require a walk. There is a bus stop a short distance away
from the hotel, but this means changing buses at Lund C.
Timo also suggested that we might need to use a meeting room at the
Planetstaden for groups larger than about 10, so I'm still leaning
towards that hotel but I haven't booked anything yet (waiting for Timo's
comments tomorrow).

FYI, the Bus 20 has the detailed route from Lund C to ESS in the enclosed image.
From Timo (off-list), the meeting will likely be held at the main ESS site:
European Spallation Source ERIC
Odarslövsvägen 113
224 84 Lund, Sweden
(This is not the same as the site of the 2016 collaboration meeting.)
Last time I was there, I stayed at:
Elite Hotel Ideon, Scheelevägen 27, 223 63 Lund
(https://www.elite.se/en/hotels/lund/hotel-ideon/)
This hotel is on the Bus 20 line described by Han.
