If you are using Redhat 8.0 with all the updates installed you should have glibc version 2.3.2-4.80.6
Can you verify that such a system will be a static executable of exampleApp that works? It would be very interesting to know. Add the line STATIC_BUILD=YES to exampleApp/configure/CONFIG and to a rebuild.
