Tom – appreciate the response, thank you very much. Thank you, Eric D. Stone K1 Technical Director Lockheed Martin RMS Desk: (856) 608-6619 Cell: (856) 242-4051 SIPR: (Include “Attn: Eric Stone” in the subject line) nscc at lmnj.contractor.techrep.navy.smil.mil From: Walsh, Thomas R. <twalsh at anl.gov> Hi Eric, I have nothing in writing, but I can tell you how I change the crystals out. I put the card on an ESD mat and then using a scribe(or small standard jeweler screwdriver) I begin
lifting the corner marked with the dot . Once I feel it move a little I go to the diagonal corner and lift up. Once this corner starts to come up, the crystal is loose enough to remove with my fingers. Go slow and watch not to scratch the conformal coating
of the PCB. Tom Walsh 630-252-5621 |
