Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
These guys never leave me alone. They are interested in moving product
and doing some dealing. So I thought I'd mention it to the rest of the
EPICS community. I am not interested in endorsing (or supporting) this
stuff as the APS will (presumably) take a little while before it goes thru
a hardware upgrade. And by then many of you will be giving us advice as to
what boards and BSPs to use.
I honestly doubt any numbers like the one quoted below are at all meaningful
to those of us that are interested in doing any I/O. Many board vendors are
clueless as to how software is designed and used. And others that build
message-based devices are (I suspect) living in the land of the TRS-80.
