That sounds good. My only reservation is that this forces the concept of
FORCEPV to be visible to the operator, whereas, as I understand it, FORCEPV
is intended to be a hidden mechanism which "magically" avoids alarms when
other aspects of the system state indicate that the alarm is not real.
Do people have objections to my two proposals of yesterday, namely
a) allow the FORCEPV reset mask to honor any operator overrides,
b) allow the FORCEPV logic to check for transitions to the force or
reset values
>From my point of view, these seem to address the problem at source. Really,
I think you could almost view them as bug fixes.
