Do you have some ideas on how you would like this feature implemented?
I don't think  the operator should loose the ability to restore the initial config

file channel mask settings because these  should be the optimal settings for
normal operation.

I checked the alh source code. On October 6 changes were committed
to process the forcePV ca value event only if the value has changed.
