Hi Zoltan,
I donât see that when I build the R3.14 branch on Solaris. That type of
compile time error typically occurs because a pure virtual function is not
defined in the derived class, but I donât see supporting evidence in the
source code. I am building with the following version of the Sun compiler.
bash-2.05b$ /opt/SUNWspro/bin/CC -V
CC: Forte Developer 7 C++ 5.4 Patch 111715-13 2003/12/11

Subject: R3.14.7 next build error ?!
Hi again,
I've got the next error building the release 3.14.7:
/opt/SUNWspro/bin/CC -c -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=199506L
-D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -DUNIX -DSOLARIS=8 -mt -D__EXTENSIONS__
-O +w -I. -I.. -I../../../../include/os/solaris
-I../../../../include ../epicsExceptionTest.cpp
"../epicsExceptionTest.cpp", line 106: Error: Cannot create a variable
for abstract class exThread.
1 Error(s) detected.
gmake[3]: *** [epicsExceptionTest.o] Error 1
Do somebody knows how to fix it ? (before I begin to search for)
Regards,
Zoltan
