Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hello all,
procServ V2.4.0 has been released.
procServ is an application that runs any process (e.g. a soft IOC) in the
background, allowing telnet access to its stdin/stdout.
Changes - based on Steve Lewis' suggestions:
* New "--allow" command line option to allow control connections
from *any* host.
This potentially dangerous option is creating a severe security hole
and has to be explicitly enabled in the Makefile.
Default: Restrict to localhost, do not allow --allow.
* New "-w (--wait)" command line option starts server in "child shut
down" mode and waits for explicit start command on control connection.
* Fix: "dir to chdir to" defaults to server start dir.
