Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
OK, so the problem is with the X server, not the client, since that
behaviour does not occur when displaying MEDM from the other platform on
Linux or Windows, right? Do you know when the problem started? I am
not a Mac user, but Lewis Muir and Eric Norum are, so maybe they have
some ideas?

Good question Mark, and I should have pointed this out before...
Running MEDM on other platforms while exporting the display back to my
Mac produces identical results (e.g. those specific buttons are still
non-functional).
