I believe that the mrfEventSystem driver supports the PMC-EVR-200 model.  The PMC-EVR-230 is supported by the mrfioc2 driver also on sourceforge.  If you have the 230 firmware then the following may be of interest.

We (Eric, Jayesh, and myself) have not yet made a release, but the code is stabilizing and we plan to do so soon.  There is some documentation in the form of a Lyx document in the source repository 'documentation/evr-usage.lyx'.  The latest pre-release version is:
