Hi Ned, I attached a short description of my problem . I want to do a sequence algorithm which states can include other sub-states that can be executed
in parallel. Another view of this problem is to do a non-deterministic automaton. Regards, Pierre De : Ned Arnold

Hi Pierre - I'm not sure I understand *exactly* what you mean, but the SNCSEQ for EPICS provides the mechanism for parallel state sets and synchronizing between them. If the manual doesn't answer your question, please provide more
details ... http://www-csr.bessy.de/control/SoftDist/sequencer/Tutorial.html ("Adding a second state set") Regards - Ned On May 27, 2011, at 10:02 AM, Perrier Pierre wrote:
Hi everybody, I’m new to EPICS. I’ve been discovering it since a month and I’m doing some state of the art work. I’m looking for a sequencer which is able to execute sequences with parallel states. I’ve looked at SNCSEQ and I believe it doesn’t have this feature. Is there any other sequencer on the market that I can look at ? Or has anyone been working
/ developing one here ? Thanking you in advance, Best regards,
