Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
The first release of the mrfioc2 driver for newer event receivers and
generators from Micro Research is now available.
http://epics.sourceforge.net/mrfioc2/
Usage documentation for the driver, including an overview are included:
http://epics.sourceforge.net/mrfioc2/evr-usage.pdf
http://epics.sourceforge.net/mrfioc2/evg-usage.pdf
This driver supports the VME-EVR-230RF, PMC-EVR-230, cPCI-EVR-230,
cPCI-EVRTG-300, and VME-EVG-230 on RTEMS and vxWorks. There is also
support for cPCI and PMC devices on Linux. The "modular register map"
firmware is required for all devices. Please contact MRF for the latest
version.
It has been tested with RTEMS 4.9.x and Debian Linux 6.0 with a 2.6.32
kernel, and EPICS versions 3.14.8.2 through 3.14.11. The only
additional dependency is devLib2. Version 2.2 is recommended.
Anyone having questions or problems should feel free to contact Jayesh,
Eric, and myself.
