i'm developing a new EDM control panel to manage a quite complex
apparatus and i have a problem: i want to call my archiver web interface
through the shell command control button, but my address is too much
long for the shell command field.
I'm trying to use macro substitutions to reduce the number of characters
used in that field, but i didn't have the result desired yet.

In my case i'm interested to recall the following address:


$(ADDR)=$(ARCH)&PATTERN=*&GLOB=ON&LIST=RFQ%3ACMOD01_SG01%3AP&NAMES=RFQ%3A$(PV1)%3AP%0D%0A&STRSTART=1&STARTSTR=2H&STREND=1&ENDSTR=now&COMMAND=Plot&Y10=0&Y11=0&Y20=0&Y21=0&YLABEL=$(YLAB)&WIDTH=800&HEIGHT=600&SCALE=100&INTERPOL=0&INTTYPE=LINEAR&GAP=0&GAP2=0

where ADDR, ARCH, PV1 and YLAB are macros; in this way i can use it in
my shell command field, but i'm not able to show the webpage desired
(and the macro substitution is correct, i checked).

Is there some particular option or configuration that i forget to use?
