I can't find the email that contained the most recent answer... it said to look at this page:

Anyway, one can use "Text Update" to display the waveform string, but it is necessary to select format "String" to see the text. Selecting "Default" will show the elements in ASCII format.
"Text Input" also displays the text, and also gives a choice of "String" or "Default."
Very nice and useful.
