Subject: | Example for User Created File Types in the build system |

I am looking for an example of how to use "User Created File Types" in the build system to add some custom files to the generated product. I've followed the documentation in the App Developer guide (R3.14.12.4) and created a CONFIG_ABC in my app's src folder.
$ cat userFileTypeApp/src/CONFIG_ABC FILE_TYPE += ABC INSTALL_ABC = $(INSTALL_LOCATION)/abc
I then include this in the app's Makefile; CFG += CONFIG_ABC
and add a sample file like so. ABC += test.abc
1) When I run make for the first time, only the cfg folder shows up. I expected the "abc" folder to show up but it didn't. 2) If I run make again, the abc folder does indeed show up and it does have the "test.abc". 3) And when I run "make clean distclean", the abc folder stays behind.
Would anyone have a example that I could use as a reference?
Regards, Murali
