We also have the N-Helix cryostream at Diamond (on I19), so already have EPICS support for this.

We've got a serially connected N-Helix that is run using a sequencer program. The above link contains what you should need. The protocol is described here:

if there's any issues with what I have. Also, the adl screens that are in there might be out of date compared to the caqtdm screens that are included.
