Dear Michael,

I have roughly tested this module with the Darwin kernel version 17.7.0.

It all worked out so far.

In the Quickstart it says that one should open three terminals to start the server and 2 client calls.

You forgot to mention that in each of these terminals you have to activate the virtual environment beforehand with 
. P4ptest/bin/activate

(Otherwise this error message will be thrown: /usr/local/opt/python@2/bin/python2.7: No module named p4p.server)
