Hi, I am trying to run some tests using the simulation mode utility of ai/ao records, using base version 3.15.7. I noticed that my SIOL fields are getting cut off for the record under test.
I intend to define SIOL for my record as follows: VSRC_SIM_RF:RFC_N0001:PHA_CSET_DDZN_HW CP MS What I get back from channel access is: Is it correct that SIOL only holds 40 characters, or is this merely a cosmetic trait when the value is pulled from channel access? It wasn’t entirely clear upon a cursory glance at epics-base. -Evan |
