Hi Mark,

I helped Jong Woo with a couple of issues, and in a couple of days he had it working.  The main problems were that he needed to enable the amplifier in the medm screen, and he had mistakenly configured the axis to use digital inputs to disable it.

Apologies, there is no documentation describing the PV list with Galil EPICS driver.

If the motor is still not working, could you please tell me about your motor setup?

Do you have a stepper with no encoder, a brushed servo or brushless servo?

In the meantime, to run basic motor controls the following databases are needed:

galil_motors-v6-10up.substitutions (motor records for motor control)

galil_dmc_ctrl.substitutions (Controller wide settings)

galil_motor_extras.substitutions (settings outside the motor record eg. motor type)

Once those databases are loaded, after attempting to move the motor, inspect the PV

DMC01:ERROR_MON for error messages, it may give some clues.  If no message is displayed the problem is likely

to be basic setup items such as; motor tuning, commutation, etc.
